Impact Area On Wednesday, December 1st, at 7pm at the high school, the Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing regarding the proposed expansion of Sugar City's impact area. The relatively aggressive border expansion plans of our neighbor city south of us require us to make sure we officially define our impact area and expand it when appropriate so our city can remain vibrant and independent long into the future. More information about the P&Z hearing can be found on the city's website: https://sugarcityidaho.gov/ Street Sweeping, Plowing, and Parking The city council has been working with the mayor and the public works department to revise our street ordinance regarding parking regulations. (There is no tire "booting" clause in the ordinance.) The revised ordinance has been read, discussed, and debated in at least three different council meetings.
